We made it to the mile high city at last. This place was one of the most scenic places I have even been to. We got extremely lucky with he weather especially when we drove through the Rocky mountains. We were stuck in a hail storm for about an hour, but once that was over it was clear blue skies once more. We also visited the Red Rock amphitheater as well as the Garden of the Gods. Very rarely do I say this, but I can’t wait to head back to Denver.

Hello Summer, Hello Hamptons

The Hamptons is a part of the East End of Long Island, USA. It comprises of a group of villages and hamlets in the towns of Southampton and East Hampton, which together form the South Fork of Long Island, in Suffolk County, New York. The Hamptons form a popular seaside resort and one of the historical summer colonies of the northeastern United States. So I decided I need to go to the Hamptons to see if I should summer there myself. The verdict is in: I should surely summer here.

Aaah at last we made it to Chicago! Last year my wife and I had a nightmarish airport experience where we never made it to Chicago even after 48 hours. I won’t get into the details of that trip, but this time we made it. We took off on time as well as got back to Jersey on time. The trip was great since it was time spent well with friends who are like family, but the weather sucked. We did manage to get out from time to time when the rain did let up so I managed to get some pictures.
